Sony denies PS4 at E3 2012

Sony has said that it has no plans to show off anything resembling a PlayStation 4 at E3.

Sony Computer Entertainment chairman Kazuo Hirai told press at CES in Las Vegas, that as confirmed by Andrew House, Sony are “not making any announcements at E3.

“I’ve always said a 10-year life cycle for PS3, and there is no reason to go away from that.”

This rumour goes in the face of MCV‘s recent report, which suggested that both a new Xbox and PlayStation will be revealed at the industry event, citing solid sources.

Microsoft is yet to confirm or deny rumours about the next Xbox .
