Actually i think its quite foolish to open the japanese version first when thet only have 8 million registrered users – and us have 31 million users and remember its was In the San Diego servers there was a breach not om Japan but nettet yet it would be better if it was here In Europe first
Seems like a smart move to me. Hand it out to a smaller user base AND your own people, who will likely be more forgiving if there are still problems with the network. Japan will be the USA’s PSN focus group. You know if they released it to us 31 million with continued problems there may be a reverse Pearl Harbor.

For me this only sounds like good news and i have nothing but praise for how Sony has dealt with this situation and I’m am glad the fans have stayed loyal to Sony. I’ve actually benefited out of this situation as i have now completed Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 on the hardest difficulties and got all the single player trophies, I also went back to GTA The Ballad of Gay Tony and finished that off after 10 months of actually starting the game.

Notice the date it shows for release? Quote from ggmania “Honest Hearts will be available via Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network, and Steam on Tuesday, May 17th.”
Now not to jump to conclusions, but this would coincide with the news update from Japan about PSN almost ready to switched back on. IM NOT CROSSING MY FINGERS JUST YET THOUGH!!
That doesnt say anything, it is just that release date they announce , even last week, Red Faction : Armagaddon was also Schedule for 3rd of may but they didnt change the date, so the release dates you see on diffrent things isnt say anything about the release of PSN ..
Its dates they have to hold no matter what, and you probaly wont be able to download it anyway the store is what i have seen the actually last thing they will put online because this way they have a additional time to make sure it is 99,9 % secure, nothing is 100 % .. and these thing isnt about online gaming, that are diffrent servers.

EPIC FAIL !! a massive company like SONY and they have the worst customer service ever… you dont make promises you can’t keep thats otherwise known as lying. They could of had the gaming servers back up within a week, that would of helped no end. I’m not believing anything they say unless i have seen it myself.

you know its funny 4 to 5 days since sony posted a update to what stage thier at… alot of speculation to when the network comes back on… but think about it they are fixing the security …. not online gaming , communication ,or glitchs in these new releases that have came out in the past two months.. plus yes they may be losing money daily but obviously not enough to restore sum services as they have stated in previous blogs. as for free network that will come to a end soon after restart.between money lost and spent to restore service. yes we will absorb those expenses. watch and see. and we pay to play just like xbox customers . besides when people threaten togo to xbox.. everyone here knows they will be back and sony knows it too… its sad to say sony should have handled it better with thier customers..
